ABOUT
The Course

For one glorious week, we will study the art of interior design. Together, we will explore the basic principles of design including space, form, light, and color. We will learn how to put together concept boards, how to interview and present to a client, and how to breathe new life into a space.

As a design team, we will use our knowledge and skills to redesign a space on campus. To complete that task, we will work with our client(s) to determine their needs and wishes, get off campus to source materials, and visit the Fab Lab in Gates Mills to design and produce a unique object for the space. Get ready to make something beautiful. Something divine.

ABOUT
Us

Our goal in creating this course was to give students the opportunity to not only learn about great design but to create beautiful spaces. Our grander vision for Divine Design is to transform the Lyndhurst campus—one space at a time—each project to be the mark and legacy of each Insights cohort.

Welcome to the Insights 2018 team!
